in Lincoln Park

This community-led project will turn a quarter-acre of asphalt into a welcoming natural space for people and wildlife.

After the pavement is removed, volunteers will help restore the soil and plant native shrubs, perennials, and groundcovers. The majestic redwoods and beeches along the perimeter will be preserved.

Park visitors will enjoy
a peaceful retreat and connection to nature
just steps away from

Wildlife will thrive with increased biodiversity, new sources of food, and enhanced nesting and rearing places.

The revitalized space
will complement the scenic surroundings, and new
nature-friendly recreation opportunities
will be compatible with
other park uses.
